ADRIAN DAVIES: PLANT PHOTOGRAPHER

Terry chats with Adrian following his talk
At our Monthly meeting on Wednesday 4 May we welcomed Adrian Davies who talked to us about taking photographs of plants. We were all able to learn something, even those who take casual snaps.
For example, it is better to take photos when overcast rather than in sunlight. The latter gives shadows and can make colours look unnatural.
This is particularly important if you are attempting to photograph a carpet of Bluebells.
As part of the evening members were invited to bring along their plant and garden photos for us all to see, and for Adrian to judge which he thought best. The winner was Thor with his stunning photo of wild meadow flowers.
