Following a tradition for the last few years our Home Made Compost Competition was held at the May monthly meeting. Judging was undertaken by the members present based on the look, feel and aroma of the entries.Taking over first place from the 2015 winner Alan Essex is Gerry Carpenter, to whom we offer our congratulations.
He is seen here having just received his prize from Chairman Rick. Second was Philip Grigg and third Margaret Edwards.
Our thanks to all those who entered, and hopefully it may encourage you to have a go next year.
